Carolina Eye Care Professionals was founded in 2005 by Dr. R. Thomas Barowsky to continue to provide care for the people of Robeson and Sampson counties. Dr. Barowsky, along with his support staff, provide our patients with the very finest care available with compassion, reassurance and friendly assistance. Dr. Barowsky is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and the American Board of Eye Surgeons. Because he is dedicated to the health and welfare of his patients, Dr. Barowsky encourages his staff to maintain certification by the Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology. Surgical privileges are maintained at both Southeast Regional Medical center in Lumberton and Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton to provide patients with high quality eye surgery locally. This allows patients and their families to be home early in the day after surgery. Post surgery follow up is also provided locally, saving time and money for our patients and their families.
